On the single, the artist is credited as Think.

Damn, Laurie Records was one of the cooler indie labels of the fifties and 
sixties and "Once You Understand" was their last hit ever (1972). From Dion & 
the Belmonts to the Music Explosion to Think is one hell of a journey.
