Re: [bomp] Faithfull and other '60s London books

It's called Faithfull and yes, it's one of the best memoirs of the halcyon
days of '60s London. Another is one I'm midway through right now: "Give the
Anarchist a Cigarette" by the Deviants' Mick Farren. The old adage "if you
can remember the '60s you weren't really there" does NOT apply to him--he's
got total recall of watershed happenings of the time, like the UFO club,
International Times, the 14 Hour Technicolor Dream, etc., AND he writes like
a dream, with vivid descriptions, wit, humor, style, grace. Also
recommended is "Ready Steady Go" by Shawn Levy--covers the more well-known
figures of the Swinging London era.
Has anyone read Jonathan Green's "Day in the Life"? I'm having a devil of a
time locating it.
