Moods for Moderns - was Re: [bomp] Re: New bands (was re: Vines: Garage?)
Moods for Moderns were a great band.
Dave Shettler - drummer from Moods for Moderns is now playing drums in The
Sights.
We used to play gigs with them when they came down to NY/NJ. Lots of beer
and fun. Great memories...
I know Ben (bassist) was playing bass for The Fletcher Pratt (Rainbow-Quartz
records) right before they broke up... but I have no idea what Nate
(singer/guitar guy) has been up to. They weren't a garage rock band per se -
more of a powerpop band - taking big cues from bands like Big Star.
