    hey, i am not trying to be overly negative or single anybody out or 
anything, but am i the only person here that is utterly indifferent to this 
hives/vines/white stripes stuff?? i am totally not knocking anybody's right 
to discuss such things on this list, i am just honestly wondering if i am the 
only person on here that doesn't give a shit about that stuff. that is all so 
flavor-of-the-month to me, those revolving door bands, the next upcoming 
where-are-they-now that's going to save rock & roll. nobody is going to give 
a fuck about those bands in a year...... it seems like everybody's getting 
pretty vocal on this thread, so i was just kinda wondering about this. at the 
moment, i find it even less possible than normal to get excerised about this 
kinda neo ho-hum with the new stones and who remasters finally coming out, 
even if the who is in lame-ass stereo....(why in the FUCK did they not 
include the original mono mix on that set??) .....anyway, that stuff is just 
so boring. i mean, i guess it's OK by contemporary standards - but that's not 
saying much, is it?? as a friend of mine was saying recently "yeah, 
yeah....whatever. just give me my sixties records!!"
