Re: [bomp] Re: hives, vines, lee ann rimes, whoever, whatever...

Puzzled about you're cynical attitude Rob. I love all the new bands, some
more than others, but 'flavour of the month' stuff?! Maybe they'll be burnt
out in a year, but who cares. RnR is for today, not yesterday or tomorrow,
(I thought the whole nuggets thing was the 'flavour of the week' mentality,
and these bands got nowhere, didn't stop em though rocking though) and for
once it's the kids who are taking charge and they definitely don't care
about the past, the future. They've probably not even heard of the Who, The
Clash, The Sex Pistols, Small Faces, Ramones, Electric Prunes etc...but so
what. Through these new bands they'll probably get to hear about the
'classics'. These new bands are for teenagers, kids, and folk like me who
get off the youthful buzz (and Don too, I think) that's what is all about in
the first place. Yeah the kids are alright.
