    Sure.  I agree.  However, I'm absolutely thrilled that something I -
personally - like is being enjoyed by tons of teenagers.  'Cuz whether you
want to consider it garage or not - personally, I think "rock and roll" is a
more accurate term if we need to somehow put The Vines, White Stripes,
Strokes, and Hives all in one lump (and I'd rather not) - for me a couple of
these bands are really fun.  That means kids get into them rather than
things I *don't* like.  And if some kids are into them, they start bands.
Possibly bands I'll also like.
