Better him than me.  With the exception of a few songs, I'm not a fan of
Elvis Costello.  (The only reason I gave a crap when I saw his name listed
on the NJPAC sign in Newark on my way home tonight was 'cuz I knew Jahna
would be interested.)

Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know it's heresy to some of you, but so be it.

To get back to the point... Don's point is that the time someone has to put
in before they're allowed to state they don't like a band "depends."  It
seems pretty obvious to me that we can all change our minds.  In the case of
The Vines, the only way someone's gonna get me to go see them at this point
is if they happen to be on a bill with someone else I like.  Gotta love the
fact that what first turned me *off* to them was the free promo CD-single
(or whatever) that was given away to people coming out of the Bowery
Ballroom after a Hives' show in June.  Have I heard other stuff?  Yes.  But
the song(s) I heard on that disc repulsed me.
