I was always a fan of Paul. I'm 36 years old and listened to my sibling's
Beatle albums and 8 tracks. Band On The Run was one of the first albums I got
into listening to when I was a kid, meaning I knew of Paul in Wings before
knowing he was in the Beatles. My sister told me that if I liked Wings, I
should listen to Rubber Soul, and I did, and 28 years later, here am I on the
BOMP list sharing sharing musical interludes and puke stories. As time has
gone on, I became a left handed bass player, so yeah, he influences me now,
although I'm also a Ringo fan and Cloud Nine by George Harrison is my
favorite Beatle solo album. I also like John, but Paul was the one that stood
out for me.

When I was younger, Peter Tork was my favorite because he was so aloof. As
time has gone on, Mickey Dolenz has become my favorite because he was so zany
and he could sing good. I remember seeing Dolenz, Jones, Boyce, and Hart on
Don Kirschner's Rock Concert in 1976 and he was a wildman on stage! I thought
Mike Nesmith was boring when I was younger, although I like him a lot more
now and like his country-rock solo stuff. I never cared for Davy Jones, leave
him for the girls.
> 3. WHO ARE THE HOTTEST/SEXIEST BOMP-RELATED ROCKERS?
>
There aren't many BOMP female performers that I can think of, but any woman
that I said I admired in the Noise (you know who you are), along with Miss
Jane, they're up there in my favorites.
> 4. FASHION: DO YOU HAVE FAVORITE ITEMS OF CLOTHING

The Strangemen inspired me to take up sewing after finding out somebody made
outfits for them. I love paisley shirts, even though I've only made one. I
love some of the outfits that I've seen some of the lady BOMPers wear,
especially Jahna, Nanct, and Andrea, who I understand makes some of her own
clothes. I prefer the East Coast garage styles over the West Coast. The West
Coast seems to throw goth and rockabilly into the mix, sometimes great,
sometimes disasterous.
> 5. BRAG TO US ABOUT YOUR COLLECTABLES, MEMORABILIA,
> RARE REKKIDS, ETC.
>
I've been collecting since I was 13 years old, although I was listening as
far back as age four on a Show and Tell turntable and a Kenner Close and Play
running laps around the dining room table for hours on end as the records
played. With those stops every 3 minutes or so to flip the records, I could
go for 5 or 6 hours without repeating a record, I wish I had that attention
span today. I probably have close to 4000 LPs, CDs, cassettes, and 8 tracks
combined. I don't go by any set rules about what I collect, just those that I
like. I do go through phases where I prefer one genre over the other. Garage
rock is the genre I've stuck with the longest, although I have gravitated
towards Stax/Volt soul in the last couple of years. I've got some rare stuff,
but can't think of anything that I can brag about that somebody on the list
doesn't already have. I started out as a baseball card collector and still
have them. My 1973-74 basketball cards are hilarious to look at, especially
the white guys with Afros.
> 6. WHO DO YOU WISH YOU COULD HAVE SEEN FROM THE
> 1950S:
> 1960S; AND 70'S, WHO YOU COULDN'T NOW POSSIBLY SEE
> PERFORM LIVE?

50's - Bill Haley and the Comets,
60's - John Coltrane, Beatles, Stones with Brian, Bobby Fuller, 13th Floor
Elevators,
70's - Led Zeppelin, Who with Keith Moon and John Entwistle, Big Star
> 7. ARE YOU A MUSICIAN? ARE YOU CURRENTLY IN A BAND,
> RECORDING OR PERFORMING? IF NOT (OR SO) WHAT BANDS
> HAVE YOU BEEN IN?
>
Yup, I play guitar and bass. Started out as a keyboard player but can barely
play that at all. Not playing in a band now, but trying to start my own band
up and have been considering offers to play in other bands.
80's bands: Blitzkreig (played out once), Philogeny/Faculty X (never played
out)
Club Linehan A Go Go House Band (never got out of the
basement
until 2001 when the band reunited at the drummer's
bachelor party)
90's bands: Tupper Crust, Goody Goody Gumdrops, Kenne Highland Clan, Keith
Bowniece Experience (recorded and gigged with all except Tupper
Crust who just gigged) one gig with Nikki and the No Minds
21st Century: The Last Ones
> 8. BESIDES GETTING LAID, WHAT'S THE *ONE* THING THIS
> LIST COULD DO FOR YOU THAT IT'S NOT RIGHT NOW?
>
I never got laid from the list, at least not yet. Hell I never got laid
because I played in a band or hung out with Alex Piandes. But I wish the list
could find me a bass player and a lead guitarist that could put up with me
and Miss Ruby so we can get a band going.
> 9. WHAT OTHER BOMPABLE ACCOUTREMENT DO YOU HAVE(vespa,
> egg chair, moderne furniture, quadrophonic stereo,
> etc)?
>
I've got a king size canopy bed and a 50's retro kitchen table and chairs
(BelAir aqua blue)
> 10. WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO ADD?
>
Hey teacher, what are you wearing? I brought my pencil, gimme something to
write on man.
