It wouldn't matter. That's what barcoding is all about. I've been in stores 
where it doesn't matter what the sticker says, it's the code that rings up. 
Of course that can work to you advantage. I got a free copy of "Blue Velevt" 
(the movie not the song) for free cause it wouldn't scan and the store was on 
a scanner accuracy kick. If the price scanned wrong or didn't scan at all, it 
was free.
