Re: [bomp] Syndicate Of Sound a.o.

Both groups had their respective albums, but face it, each one had just that
one hit. That purity and flavor fresh from the vine. When the earth, the
sun, the gentle rains allowed the harvest of that one particular vintage.

I thought the Count V LP was outright bizzare. Considering that all of these
groups had their *influences* and everyone claims *Psychotic Reaction* to be
a Yardbird's rip-off, I am not sure what the hell was going on with the rest
of the tracks on the disc. I remember buying that LP, the DC5, The best of
Spahgetti Westerns, and the first Yardbirds disc for a 99 cents each at
Woolworths around '71. Got a tube of glue for our listen pleasure to boot.

The Syndicate LP was pure frat! A blast! Some of the later singles (I think

*Brown Paper Bag* and *Mexico* were pretty weak) remind me of later day Kenny

and the Kasuals and Mouse stuff.
