Speaking of the Syndicate of Sound (The *original* SOS Band, not those 'You 
Dropped A Bomb On Me' guys. Or was that the Gap Band? LOL)...

I'll tell you what surprised me most when I bought the Syndicate LP... I was 
VERY surprised to hear excellent group harmonies on some tracks. You wouldn't 
know it just from 'Little Girl,' which is just one guy singing, and he's 
pretty much talking his way through the song, but obviously this group could 
sing! The version of 'I'm Alive', while it doesn't outdo The Hollies, is 
proof of this.
