[bomp] Roulettes

<<< Now that the formality is outta da way, I'm raving about the opening cut
on the Roullettes compilation. The name fails me now, but it's a good one. >>>

Could that be 'Soon You'll Be Leaving Me?' That's the first one on the
Roulettes comp I have. (It was their first Parlaphone A-side, 1963) and it was the
closest they ever had to an American hit, when it was released in America on
United Artists in 1964 when anything British was worth gambling on. (WABC in New
York had it as a 'Hot Prospect' in June 1964).

I recently won on Ebay their 45 'Help Me To Help Myself,' one of their last
two singles, from 1967 when they left (or were asked to leave) Parlaphone and
moved to Fontana. I've been looking for years for these two singles...that one
and 'Rhyme Boy Rhyme'...to complete my Roulettes collection, and I never knew
anyone who had them, and as far as I know, they never appeared on comps.
