The following plug is lifted from the BBC website. You can hear the show

PUNK ROCK USA - THE ROOTS OF US PUNK
Saturday 6 & 13 March, 2100 - 2200
Presented by Craig Leon
Craig Leon presents a sonic evocation of the first twenty-odd years of
garage punk, British invasion, Northwest rock, Motor City madness, trash
rock and New York punk and their lasting influence on today's new wave of
guitar bands.
"We'll play a shedload of earth-shakin' records which - along with the
interviews and sharp presentation - will tell this story for the first time
on UK radio (or maybe anywhere)."
