And I've always preferred that version of 'I Can't Keep From Cryin' 
Sometimes' to the one released on The Blues Project's 'Projections.'  (I was going to 
just say "The Blues Project's version" but the 'What's Shakin' cut is 3/5 of 
them anyway). I like that version enough, sure, but I like the casualness of the 
'What's Shakin' version...a little more jazzy in a Ramsey Lewis kinda way, or 
"Cantaloupe Island" (or is it "Watermelon Man?" I forget which is which...but 
Al's 'What's Shakin' cut reminds me of ONE of those two). I listen and I 
easily imagine a few guys on a small stage in a dark coffeehouse.

And on the subject of unreleased Elektra stuff, the Koop says he recorded 
four songs for that album (Elektra asked for two). I'd love to hear those others 
if they ever pop up.
