[bomp] Circus Mono-mus

I recently scored a mono copy of the first Circus Maximus album. I've had the stereo version since 1988 and always loved the album, but some of those mixes sounded a bit awkward to be, and I'd long wondered if the mono blended it together better...but for whatever reason I never made much of an effort to find a mono copy. But recently I sought and succeeded, and sure enough I do like the mono mix better. "Bright Light Lover" particularly sounds good because the fuzz bass isn't as intruding as it is in stereo. And though I didn't do an A/B comparison on this one, to my ears the drums on the mono "Wind" seems to be more to the fore. 

The only thing I found odd about the mono album was during "Short Haired Fathers." In mono, the keyboard solo just before the last verse for some reason gets a BIG boost in volume...it actually sounds like an accident. Weird.
