i always dug the gun clubs lack of guitar skill...to me, they sounded like they could barely play which is why dave alvin's lead work on the las vegas story was such a fun contrast.  he was the perfect ringer for that record.  and is it just me but that band just did not have it after the las vegas story record.  todd

  you haven't heard those two albums, eh?  i probably wouldn't have come up
