Oh, I wasn't being 100 per cent serious. But then I have known said
promoters personally for more than ten years. The two genres aren't mutually
exclusive, no. But back in the day you would rarely find a rockabilly guy in
the UK - said promoters both being Londoners - who's also into sixties
garage too, maybe the Sonics at a pinch. Things are different these days,
but the rockabilly crowd over here are still very insular. It's a lot
different than in the US, I have found. PJ
