Looks like Lee was right the first time. Because although Dylanologists debate the actual release date of 'Blonde On Blonde' (the "official" release date is cited as May 16, 1966, but Dylan fans claim they remember they didn't see any copies in their stores until late June...after being repeatedely told the album was delayed...and there's a late June press release from Columbia Records that says "Columbia Records has introduced a marketing innovation in the teen-age field with the release of the new, two-LP set "Blonde on Blonde" by Bob Dylan . . .") either way still precedes the July or August release of 'Freak Out.' ('Blonde On Blonde' was already on the charts by mid-July)
