[bomp] Ye Olde Wayback Machine playlist (9/13/04)

Greetin's Cretins!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, it's been a while. I fell a couple of weeks
behind on sending out ye olde playlist emails. Sorry 'bout that. So
this one's from "wayback" in September. The 13th, to be exact. If
you'll recall, that was the week that KDHX was once again invaded by
those local garage dopes, Thee Lordly Serpents. These guys are probably
THEE most authentic local garage rock band, as they are actually OLDER
than the music is they emulate in the band. Or something. Anyhow, I say
"once again," because they first played live on the show back in June
of 1999. They wanted to prove to the world (or at least the handful of
dedicated listeners who tune into the show, ahem, YOU!) that they have
indeed NOT progressed at all musically in those past five years and
remain the very same talent-challenged primitive rock'n'rollers that
they've always been. And prove that they did! And in front of a wild &
wooly live studio audience, too! (Thanks to Bill, Kirk, Nancy, Bob,
Doc, and Dawn for contributing the applause, hoots & hollers). We'll be
doing this again soon, as The Gentleman Callers will be on the show on
October 18th. OK, so without further ado, here's how it all shook down
that fateful night back in mid-September:
