Having heard it probably decades ago, I only remember one line,

In football, you score a touchdown
In baseball, you run home.

I used to like Carlin, but I still haven't forgiven him for that awful
sitcom about ten years ago. Besides, while I usually have no problem with
comedians/musicians/whatever becoming corporate shills, there are a few
people who've built their careers around NOT being the kind of person who
does that, Carlin being one of them. I thought the Simpsons episode where
Krusty becomes a stand-up comic was a direct shot at Carlin.
