Funny, but, when I was at college again recently, someone like that could be 
very refreshing to see.  At least you knew they knew who Eddie Cochran was.  I 
think...

And, I should add, that a lot of the better-looking Chicano girls were going 
for the Bettie Page thing, and lookin' real cool, which sure beats the chola 
look they wore when I was in High School.  And, they looked like they were into 
getting an education, not getting pregnant by some some gang idiot from 
Lomas, Poor Side, Sangra, White Fence or City Terrace.

It's like, there's less smog in L.A. now than there was in the '70s too, 
because environmental laws were passed then, and they worked.  Not everything is 
worse here these days.
