Some interesting comments, not all of which I agree with, but many I did....and my favorite was this quote from Steve Hoffman, respected mastering engineer of many CD gold disc reissues, including 'Surrealistic Pillow.' On the subject of the RCA Stones recordings, he says: 

"I don't have enough knobs on my equipment to make something sound THAT bad!"
