[bomp] TV rock-related BS

Just finished disk 1 of the first season on this cartoon. While it did
not have any cartoon bands in it, it is well worth checking out. Plus
the theme song is pretty cool.


The theme is God, the show is God, which reminds me, we just managed to Tivo 
the movie MAYA recently, starring Jay North and that most elusive teen star of 
all time, Sajid Khan... they guy everybody wonders about.  MAYA was pretty 
fun to watch.  Also, on DVD, we've been renting the nowadays series THE GILMORE 
GIRLS and as I mentioned earlier, the lead gal is always mentioning "running 
off and joining the Bangles" as what she wished to do when she was younger... 
well, finally, there is an episode with the Bangles playing in it, a couple of 
songs, one good ("Hero Takes a Fall"), one bad ("Eternal Shame").  But the 
show itself is pretty good.

Twiggy's 1971 movie THE BOY FRIEND is also running somewhere right now.
