[bomp] KKK took Carlsbad away

Don't know if this is the KKK meeting that Dominic referenced, but I've been
doing research on history in this area and have determined that the KKK had
a major presence in my hometown - Long Beach, CA - and that there was a
20,000 plus KKK rally at Recreation Park in 1924. 

Steve, what I found out that it wasn't some antiquated thing, but that in 
North County San Diego, there were elected officials RECENTLY who were Klansmen.  
I was kind of shocked when my family moved to Carlsbad, the way people think 
in that area, it was a huge culture shock coming from L.A.  Then I found out 
about that whole Metzger thing in Fallbrook, and that he was using the same 
public access system as I was cutting It's Happening in.  This kind of thing 
weirded me out, big time.  You know, a lot of places had KKK in 1924, but in 
SoCal, it's still a prescence in these counties that are just considered 
"Republican" and to some people, that's o.k.  But they don't see/refuse to see the core.

That's one thing about Hollywood; there are so many Jewish people around that 
people can see the paralells with Germany in the '30s easier.
