Which I had heard about from my grandpa's stories of
growing
up (half Jewish) in Cleveland in the 30s. Since
Cleveland, Toledo
and Detroit were big centers of Bund activity, I'm
sure Buffalo
was too....

I'd like to read it, although Higham in his Errol
Flynn book
pretty much made up the bit about Flynn having Nazi
ties.
That has been exposed as being blatant BS. 

An interesting book on a somewhat similar subject
(with an indirect relevant
connection) is WARRANT FOR GENOCIDE by Norman Cohn, 
Nik's dad. It has a chapter on US antisemitic fascist
activity.
