As a fan of both Grand Funk Railroad AND Terry Knight & the Pack,  he was a 
"whatever-happened-to" figure with me for a long time...after he  stopped 
managing Grand Funk, Knight just did like a mole and went  underground...and sadly 
enough, like Fred Neil, no one knew his whereabouts  until death caught up 
with him.
