[bomp] White Ska

<<< What white acts were picking up on ska in '64 other than Georgie Fame, and Annette Funicello's cover of "Jamaica Ska" >>>

<<< The Fleetwoods did "Ska Light, Ska Bright" in '64 (Dolton 97). >>>

<<< John Lennon always said that the bridge of "I Call Your Name" was ska-influenced. >>>

Has anyone yet mentioned The McGil Five, of "Mockingbird Hill" fame, early 1964? A big UK hit they milked to death with subsequent ska singles.

Also, the British group The Trends cut a ska version of "All My Loving" in early 1964. It was awful...but it was ska.
