Charlie Gillet in SOUND OF THE CITY seemed to care a great deal for songs 
with those Latin changes, you know "louie Louie" bands.

THIS IS DEFINITELY ESSENTIAL because Gillet really breaks down how the 
independent labels made it all happen.  Imagine that.  I'd put that book in my top 3 
rock 'n' roll books, along with WHAT WAS THE FIRST ROCK 'N' ROLL RECORD by 
Steve Propes and Jim Dawson and another one I'm forgetting right now.

By the way, I thought of another band like Uriah Heep.... Jobriath.... who 
the?  what the?
