I've heard that Beefheart has legally squelched any
new releases
of unissued material also. A friend of mine awhile
back mentioned
that Warners was going to put out an album of unissued
Beefheart
material from the Spotlight Kid/Clear Spot era before
hearing from
Don's attorneys quite rapidly. Not that DVV is as big
of a scumbag
as JPP.....
