can I miss you when you won't go away?"

And early Alice Cooper--of whom I was a big fan--has what to do with this
nostalgia thread?

My two cents: as a teenager in the late 60s and 70s, I couldn't have cared
less about Rudy Vallee (or Glenn Miller), "Winchester Cathedral" or "Boogie
Woogie Bugle Boy" notwithstanding, but did catch a lot of grief from peers for
liking "rock" from my childhood in the 50s and early 60s, before the hippies
made it worth listening to...
