especially considering that Preminger did direct quite

films. I've never seen "Hatful of Rain" - I'd heard
that was Tony Francisiosa (spelling?))'s fave of all
the roles he ever did. Funny, considering all the dope
films I've seen (including some REALLY obscure ones,
like a Mexican silent drug exploitation film from 1926
called "The Iron Fist"), I've somehow missed that one.
I's also nominate "Sweet Smell of Success" for it's seamy underbelly of the
entertianment column biz vibe, great performances and wonderful balack and
white scenes of late 1950's Manhattan. oh yeah, and the cars...
