[bomp] Coffee 'n' Smokes This Monday (6/20)

    Hope springs eternal.  You see, the Little League team that I coach enters
the playoffs this weekend.  Thanks to the efforts of the legal and child
psychology industries over the past 25 years every team makes the playoffs in
the hope that it will boost every child's self-esteem.  And though we're
playing the first place team that went 15-1 this season that beat us by a
combined score of 28-3 over two games while my team went a malodorous 1-14, we
HOPE we can win.  Of course if our hopes are realized, that will mean an
abbreviated Coffee 'n' Smokes this Monday, June 20th starting at 9pm because
we'll have another game to play earlier that evening that we hope we'll also
win so that we may advance to the division championship.
    Of course some of the handfuls and handfuls of masochists that aren't into
baseball that gather 'round their radios and PCs twice a month in hopes I'll
play some decent tuneage and keep the talk to a minimum for a change hope we
lose so that there'll be the full two hour broadcast that I hope they'll like
'cuz I have a bunch o' new stuff to spin.  If those naysayers hopes are
realized, we'll have another Coffee 'n' Smokes at its regular time, 8-10pm
this Monday (6/20).  Here's hoping you'll tune in...I hope to let yez know
Monday morning as to what time.
