IMO, anyone that uses the term "punkier" prolly learned about punk rock either from the December 1982 episode of Quicny or at the clothing store at the mall... ;)

Having played in a band with a punkish drummer, I'd have to say that most PUNK drummers are leaden and rigid. Punk was a great invention in its' time, but for some reason that genre produced some of the most hamfisted drummers ever heard; no grooves or flexiblity at all. That's why I thought it was kinda  funny seeing "looser" and "punkier" joined together, as if it were the same  thing, 'cause from my experience it's not.
