Re: [bomp] new Knights of Fuzz DVD!
Hey,
I'm probably the least qualified 'round here to recommend videos, but back
in the 80's when I could still see a bit, I dug the fact that Much Music
(Canadian MTV-type channel) once showed a whole Hour-long "Garage" special
featuring the usual suspects like the Chesterfield Kings and Fuzztones
(Woard 81), but also Canada's Gruesomes (Down Below) and 10 Commandments
(City Of People). As I recall, these two Canuck offerings were mainly
performance vids, but still stand out as fitting right in to what was a
fuzztastic TV special. I wonder if CHUM ltd. (owners of much Music) still
have that show archived for assisting with your 'knights...." DVD release).
Maybe James Booth (aka. James Lord) of the 10 Commandments could help as
well since he apparently worked for Much at the time (circa '88) and
actually hosted the special.
Best of luck with this long overdue project!
Squirrely.

videos from the late 1970s to today in the garage-psych genre that you think
I should try to include? I already have some great clips, but I'm interested
to hear what music VIDEOS fans think should be included!
