The Lea Riders Group, prolly one of the best known
Swedish 60s psych groups, has a fantastic release out
as part of a series called "Swedish Rock History" I
believe. They are on the second volume, but has
anyone heard the other two? I believe one is a band
called The Friends that have two really cool tracks on
the SEARCHIN' FOR SHAKES CD reissue. The other is The
Panthers, from whom I've heard absolutely nothing.
Speaking of Swede beats, I recently swiped a
dead-stock vinyl copy of SEARCHIN' FOR SHAKES, nice
and minty. There is still good in this world.
