[bomp] The Corporation

Regarding 'The Corporation,' BOMPers spoke thusly:

<<< For fifty cents, not bad. If it had been three dollars I would've
passed >>>

<<< it's appears to be a group of musician's whose aspirations exceeded
their ability. i actually liked the interpretation of india. a real period piece
that is not memorable is the best way to put it. >>>

Thanks for the advance notice. Since reading the above, I've listened to
Side One. Haven't braved the sidelong "India" yet. Not much of Side One moved me
greatly...but I wasn't hating it either. The second track, "Ring That Bell,"
I thought was a good song.

Just based on my memory of one play...It seemed like the album alternated
between songs based primarily on one chord and songs that changed chords every
split second. One or two of the songs had me guessing that they weren't
originally heavy songs but that someone at the last minute said "Hey, heavy music
is the thing these days. Everyone play louder and harder!"

Gotta say...whoever owned this album before me must have not played it very
much. This is unquestionably the cleanest used album I ever bought. (Honor
previously held by 'Let There Be Light' by The Underground Sunshine, which came
in a somewhat worn cover, but the record was/is incredibly clean.) Sounds
incredibly nice and clean, and the cover is in perfect shape.
