[bomp] Garland Jeffreys?

I don't know a lot about Garland Jeffreys, but I always thought he was a  New 
Yorker.  Someone last night said he was a Louisiana native and his home  was 
destroyed by Katrina.  The facts?  Also, I have desperately  searched to 
purchase a download of his "Wild in the Streets" classic online but  it doesn't 
seem to be available in that format anywhere.  Anyone have this  one tune 
digitally that they could send?
