By the mid 80s Copey'd already gone solo and done
World Shut Your Mouth and Fried.

I'm a big fan of the first 2

Used to read about them in Trouser Press, but didn't
hear too many of their songs. From how I remember
them, I'd compare them to XTC or ,anachronistically,
to Super Furry Animals (and yes, I know it's the other
way around, but SFA do remind me a lot of some UK
stuff of that era)

Never liked 'em. But then one doesn't expect much of
an Oi band from Beverly Hills.

even though I never had

You're missing nothing.

I'd probably give it a listen if I

I thought they stunk at the time, and I doubt I would
reappraise it as I have with so much from that era.
Generally, the 80s stuff that I didn't like then but
which I like now was stuff that didn't seem "hard"
enough back in the day to my teenaged self.

We talk and talk until my head explodes

I turn on the news and my body froze

The braying sheep on my tv screen

Make this boy shout, make this boy scream!
