THE DEMANDS have two really fun shows lined up for this weekend!

THURSDAY 12/8, The Demands get to play at our favorite club, Magnetic Field,
with the great soul-infused garage-rock band from Ohio, the Tough and Lovely!
This will be a one-two punch of powerful singers, lustful lyrics and rockin'
bands! It's an early show (Demands at 7:30 and Tough and Lovely at 8:30), so
you working stiffs can rock out and still make it home to sleep so you can be
bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at work on Friday! Thanks to Dot Dash for putting
this together! (Magnetic Field 97 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn - $6)

FRIDAY 12/9,  The Demands (9:30 PM) play in the back room at tiki bar
extraordinaire, Otto's Shrunken Head, with our pals from PA, The Jukebox Zeros
(10:30 PM) for their record release party.  Count on rockin' mayhem and
ass-shakin' from both bands, 'cause not only does the bar serve the usual tiki
drinks with skulls and umbrellas, they have a selection of my fave coffee
drinks to ward off the cold and wind me up! This show was put together by the
very cool ROCK 'EM SOCK EM' gang who will spin in the front room at Otto's
from 9pm - 4am.  DJ's UltraV and DJ Omega will be joined by guest DJ Mr. Man
as they spin tag-team style - brand new and classic favorites in
80's/Electro/Indie/Punk-funk/Geek Rock.    (Otto's Shrunken Head 538 East 14th
Street, NYC - Free!)

THE LATEST NEWS...
Since March, when our CD, Play For You, came out, we've been quite busy.  We
sold out of our copies of our CD (played a lot of great shows! Thanks!) and
now you have to go to the label that put it out, Deep Eddy Records, to get a
copy.  This is great timing, 'cause we're hitting Mitro's studio in December
to start work on a new full-length release.  Look forward to it this spring!
On November 12,  we played a live set on Terre T.'s Cherry Blossom Clinic Show
on our fave radio station, WFMU, where we gave a sneak preview of a few of the
songs that are going to be on the new record.  We have some fun shows coming
up, too, where you can hear these new songs and maybe pick up our new sexy
t-shirt. Hope to see you there!  We have also joined the big crowds over at
