Re: [bomp] Bomp is still cool, but I think MySpace is taking over
Hey,
I'm sure myspace has something to do with the traffic slowdown as well as
forums in general becoming an on-line medium of choice for all kinds of
things/interests. And let's not discount some of the unfortunate past
shenanigans here that drove away several cool regulars.
Getting back to myspace.com though, as much as I can understand the
attraction of the many features, I don't really find it nearly as
interactive or fun as good old Bomp discussions, info sharing or just plain
goofing around. Probably because it's so straightforward for us blind folks
to write or reply to an e-mail group, Bomp and other listserves are still
much preferred compared to the trendy and busy forum format of virtually
getting together.
