[bomp] The List

Hi folks, 
 
MJ Quirk here. I try to post every now and then. I tend to do it in spurts.  
I've met some great people on the Bomp List. I've met a couple of bad ones 
too,  but the good outweigh the bad. There's a whole bunch of different places 
that I  post, but my main ones are The Noise Board, which is based out of 
Boston, and my  site of My Space. Between those two, my fantasy sports leagues, and 
trying to  catch news, I hardly have time to post anymore.  I even switched 
over to _soupman@comcast.net_ (mailto:soupman@comcast.net)  as my new email  
address. 
 
The band I'm in now isn't really all that garage influenced. I wish I was  in 
a band like that, but my guitar player likes his Zeppelin and Hendrix albums  
and gotta use his violin bow on the Les Paul at every gig. I like the band 
I'm  in, don't get me wrong, but I miss being able to talk shop with all sorts 
of  people that were on this list. I used to see them at shows all the time in 
my  previous bands. 
 
I need you guys around so I can talk about the NY Dolls DVD I picked up  
today because I know somebody on the list already has it and has seen it.   Talk 
to you all in a couple of days once I watch the DVD and get my FM antenna  set 
up so I can tweak my Sirius to come through on my home tuner.
