Listen to this bullshit artist named Joe Emery!  He's talking about reasons to see the Ugly Beats at SXSW....Cyril this, Sal that, blah blah blah.  The real reason to see the Ugly Beats is that they put on a fantastic live show and their songs rule!

7. if sal is there by the time we go on he may join us for a cover of a

either way, i'm psyched that we're on the bill and can't wait. i just
ebay'd a copy of shake some action lp -- hopefully it'll be here in time for

we're also on at noon saturday at the flamingo cantina, downtown -- next
door to casino el camino. we're also playing the fuzz club 60s shindig that
sunday w/ a band from L.A. called the mojo filters. anyone coming to
austin, if you make it out to any of these shows come find me and i'll buy
you a beer -- i'm the short guy w/ the quickly disappearing blonde hair.
watch my hairline recede as you stand talking to me.

i feel bad about not being as active on the list as well -- things have been
just nuts w/ work lately. if anyone gets really bored though, feel free to
