There's an article in today's NY Times (p. F1, 1st p. of the Dining Out section) about a group of a dozen women who get dressed up in posh 40's and 50's dresses and dine out at older NYC restaurants. They call themselves the Dames of Beef (or Dames du Bouef, depending on their mood - great name for a band!). And one of them happens to be...Miriam Linna!
