In Japan recently, the Beatles catalog (or it might have been the Stones - but I'm pretty sure it was the Beatles) was pressed on vinyl using new digital masters and it sounded *awful* !!! From what I've read, this is much more prevelant in Europe & Japan. I'd love to hear from anyone has more info about this.
