Re: [bomp] record duplicates(was Sopranos)
I'm make it a point to dig through everything about once a year. I
recently found I still had the first three Pink Fairies lps. I was sure
they didn't make the big clear out of '85. I do buy things only to come
home and find I had one... I picked up mono Revolver last summer. I had
one, and another clean disc with out a cover???
But then the other day, I was digging deep in the cupboard to see what's
in the boxes, and realized there are some things that are gone..
On the up side. There are a few things I sold in '85 that are now "rare
heavy psych" sort of items. I down loaded a few, and realized I was
right to sell 'em. Man, some people can get excited about any old
drivel... Not me, it's gotta be special drivel to stay in my collection
When shopping, I do have to tell Kaz what she has or doesn't have.
Been having to make some room in the rooms, so there are now a couple of
boxes of thrift store finds that are gonna be at our garage sale, or
back to the thrifts.... Last stack of records I took to Sacks (our
local thrift) didn't even make it out to the bins... and i thought it
was all crap... the kids who work there must have thought otherwise.
