They also spent a lot of time in Hamburg and recorded a couple of LP's there as well prior to their two RCA lps that were recorded at the same time. They were the official band for the Tokyo Olympics in 1964 as well.

As I understand it they were British though not actually from Liverpool, and in 1965 they came to the US, were better received here than at home, and decided to stay. Why they chose Spokane, Washington, as their new home I have no idea, but that's what happened. They had one very minor national hit ("Any Way That You Want Me," #98 in 1966) but were well-known in the Pacific Northwest.
