The bassist picked me up hitchhiking a few months back; the Man was chasing 
me-vid collection; a bystander's broken ribs-and I needed to get west, 
north, wherever the black hearted boll weevil won't lick yr armpits drier 
than mother theresa's thighs, and I was on I-64, outside stoopidville, Ohio, 
and this fu manchued mother fucker in a van stopped, grinned, and said get 
in. I nodded, hopped, and for a hundred or thousand miles we drove, 
destination unknown, leavened by his 8 tracks, his daughter, and his 
rambling about the 64 olympics, with some injun running forever like  the 
wind, some Ethiopian running over the mountains, and some US of A bro named 
bullet bob runnin faster than cystal meth through Lindsay lohan's wet, 
trembling veins. It was outside salt lake when the van broke down; there 
were more white wimmen there than Norway and I tried to cop a feel or two 
but their boyfriends were chiseled like ignorant Marlboro men. fuck you 
mormans: I look first at the purse anyways. That night I fell asleep in a 
sleeping bag with the daughter, her erect nipples like lighthouses off the 
maine coast, bringing, guiding me, however, neither closer home nor sorrier 
for that.  i'll tell her you said high.
