There was a very brief period (of a few months) after
Dobbs had already split to start Raji's, when Michael
Brennan changed the name of the Cathay to the All
American Tavern, but no one referred to it by that
name - not even the Times, Weekly, or Reader. When the
building got sold, it came to an end (and, as Brent
Walker mentioned, it became the site of some super
industry oriented upscale place called the China Club,
which I never went to. Not sure what's there now)

Agreed. (Too bad I wasn't able to get a band together
during that time, due to the frustrating search for
drummers and to the time demands of "C-scum" film
school)
