I think you're talking about one particular rat-hole that hasn't been around for awhile. On the other hand, there's a couple rat-holes only about a block or so *below* Houston that have the same stupid-ass policy. (One I'm thinking of is Arlene's. I had to go there Friday night to see The Solace Brothers - who were great - and I was reminded once again why I hate the club. Bands that have nothing to do with each other, no atmosphere, and a feeling of "why bother.")
