Great stuff, Blair. I really liked that Picketts version of 'Baba O Riley.'
Interesting approach.
And I've always loved The Beau Brummels "Sad Little Girl," especially the
way the music builds and builds, as you say in the notation. I first heard that
song in early 1987 during my senior year of High School...I had the Edsel
collection 'Autumn In San Francisco,' which served as my "Beau Brummels besides
the two big hits" tutorial, and right from the first play of that album,
"Sad Little Girl" and "Don't Talk To Strangers" particularly knocked me out.
(Still don't care much for their "In Good Time" though.)
